Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2014

Hi everyone!

So I guess im the first to start the thread for Nova's Fall 2014 admissions. I put in my application about 2 weeks ago, and actually did my prereqs here as well. I am still in the process of completing Micro and A&P 2. I am VERY nervous about the admission process because my GPA is not as high as what im seeing on this site.

Thoughts?

What's weird is that the kendall campus takes in 80 students. So I'm not sure where the other 20 are coming from. I was told by them it is for the kendall/Miami campus only. Good Luck.

Thank you! I had my Nova interview in late May at Kendall. I asked in the end when you are allowed to ask questions. How many applied? Didn't get an answer. How many are accepted? They told me this year 120 at Kendall(broken into 3 groups previous year it was 80). However, they also said Kendall was full. If anyone of us wanted to apply to Ft. Meyers or main campus then we could get accepted the next day. I declined as I live 15 minutes from the Kendall campus. After that interview I clearly did not expect to make fall 2014, and I was rather surprised when I got the phone call. So I guess we will see in Aug if it is 120 or 80 not sure what to believe but if Baptist told me the right number of 100 scholarship applicants then 120 spots seems more or less accurate.

100-120 applicants sounds about right. Regardless, I'm pretty sure there are 40 scholarships as I've heard that number twice from Baptist and Nova personnel. We should know pretty soon about the scholarship.

Yes, 40 is the one number that is consistent. Well, since the last interviews are already done we should all have an answer soon.

Hello everyone! Once again congrats to everyone that has been accepted. I received my acceptance email today! I'm absolutely elated. I thought I had switched to the Ft Myers campus, but was accepted to the Main Campus which was my first choice. So I'm even more excited about that. Let the fun begin!!!

Hello all! I'm very new to this forum so I'm not really sure how this works. I was just accepted to the NSU main campus and start in the fall. Is anyone else here starting in the fall? I just got my packet and need to sign up for orientation and so on. If anyone else is starting in the main campus I would love to hear from you. Congrats to everyone who's also gotten accepted. Can't wait to start this journey with you guys!!

@victoria23 that's awesome! Have you registered for your orientation yet? I was hoping I can meet some of my classmates before hand since all this is so exciting yet nerve wrecking at the same time. Have you met anyone else that had been accepted to the main campus?

Yep I already registered. It seems like it's going to be a lllloooonnngggg day. I haven't met anyone as of yet (at least in person) but it would be nice if we could all meet before orientation. Maybe plan to meet sometime in August. I'm really anxious about the first semester because of the advanced anatomy and physiology coorifice.

Are you guys on Facebook? Someone started a page for Nova Fall 2014. This the page name: Nova Southeastern University Nursing Fall 2014. There's about 14 members right now.
