Hi, I wanted to know more about Nova and my chances on getting in. I am applying for Aug. 2010. I am currently attending MDC I have a 3.3 GPA and by the end of spring 2010 ill have a 3.4 or 3.5. Anyone know if I can get into Nova with that?

Any information on the interview at Nova? What questions do they ask? What is the essay about?

HEy dont be nervous!! Dress really professional and be yourself! i had my interview in Oct. the 20th. they ask you basic questions like why do you want to be a nurse and what are your weakness and strengths and why do you want to attend NOVA! i am also currently addeding FIU...hopefully we will both get in! just be yourself!

Hey! the essay was on "what road signs let you to nursing". after we were done, i asked if the essay is going to affect us getting in, because the four other pple with me were also worried! they dont look at that, they look mostly at ur interview. make sure u kick butt and really tell them why you want to be a nurse. i had 2 people interviewing me, they change some of the questions they ask because i was last to have my interview and i spoke to the other applicants after their interviews. make sure u r friendly...ask questions!! if there is anything else let me know! hi ladies

i applied to nova with a previous bachelor degree in allied health technolgiest and i have 4 year of experience as a nuclear tech,

my bs gpa is 3.0

my courses at mdc is 3.5

and i am currently doing my maters at fiu with a 3.2 gpa

have not heard a response yet? should i get worried? does that mean i am not getting in,

i am currently taking two classes microbio and Human growth at mdc. which will push my gpa to 3.7

any advice or should i still have hopes to hear form them,

they are still doing interviews but i dont think they really look at your gpa i know people that had a high gpa such as 3.8 and she did not get in i have a friend that got in with a 2.8. They get like 800 applicants each semester and only 100 will be selected

I can't believe they are still doing interviews; that makes me nervous because it seems that they havent found what they are looking for if they still have to do more interviews...

Unfortunately, nova doesnt have the interview process anymore. So, hopefully i get in with my excellent application.
