I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
I had my interview the first week of interviews on april 19th and still have not gotten a response from kendall campus. its been a while but i still have not lost hope.

WOW, so there are still more students waiting! I didnt know that...dont worry stay positive...i got accepted a week after my interview but i know a close friend of mine who is still waiting too keep us posted!!! Thank you lovleyx3 :)
My guess is they will continue to send out acceptance letters until the July 15 th deadline. That way yet know all who is definitely accepting and how many spots they have open. And then I would assume decline letters will go out after that. So no news is still good news and keep holding on!! I know a lot of other schools don't sound out acceptance until the end of June so maybe some who accepted will turn around a decline their seat
Yaayyyyyy! I got accepted to the Kendall Campus & congratulations to everyone who already got accepted! So excited!

Thanks!! in a way i am kind of glad they have not accepted me yet so i get most of the responses from the different schools around the same time. tell your friend to stay positive as well because i honestly do think they are accepting people in a sort of random order

I know I wonder how they choosing people lol..its pretty weird how their acceptance process is! Lol thank you I will forward her the message :)
I see many students going into nursing for the money. To be a nurse you have to like nursing. Be prepared is all about stool, urine, complaints, and one or two smiles. Please be a nurse from your heart. Take care of your patients because are human beings not a paycheck.
You forgot working plenty of Holidays, Vomit, Horrible Odors, Blood, Guts, Meetings and Protocols every other week, Joint Commissions Scrutiny...etc. I know it and still want it more than ever. Hope everybody else knows what nursing involves...mostly its the stuff Roncub and I listed. Good Luck
