Congratulations to all the future Shark Nurses. I'm starting a new Nursing Club at the Kendall campus. Anyone registered at the Kendall campus is welcome to join. I am also looking for board officers. Please IM me if you are interested. Some of the activities we will have are seminars with upperclassmen, professors, and practicing nurses. We will also be doing some community service. I haven't decided on a name yet but I have two possible names:
1-C.A.R.E: Compassionate, Assertive, Respectful, and Effective nurses
2-N.U.R.S.E: Nurturing, Unification, Reinforcement, Solidarity, Education
Any feedback or ideas are appreciated and welcomed. Joining a club so soon may seem crazy but it's a great way to stay busy and to establish a strong support system.
So I just registered on allnurses. I'm also a Kendall NSU RN student graduating 2013. I'm not sure who anybody is on this board. I'm Kenia just in case we have met already. I'd be interested in joining the club and even becoming an officer. I'd love to know more about the goals of this club.
Happy to be a shark and part of this board!!!!

Sorry it took so long but I finally have an update. There were some confusion about wether our club would interfere with student council and the nursing student association. They were worrie that we would fufill the same purpose as those club and therefore would be too confusing. So after some red tape I was finally given the okay to start the club. Thanks everyone for their advice and ideas. I try to check this post periodically so. Please don't think that I don't appreciate everyone posting their ideas. On a lighter note, the fall class has just completed the first A&P test. It wad a lot of information but I think we all did well. My advice to the next incomming class is for you all to enjoy your free time now because you won't have it past January. Lol. If you can afford, take a little vacation. You are going to need it. Lol
