Nova fall 2015 applications

Hello,

I am currently attending MDC for my nursing pre-reqs which I will be done with this summer 2015. I am going to be submitting my transcripts now in February and applying for Nova for fall 2015. Does anyone have any info on if they will let you apply before actually finishing the pre-reqs? My GPA dropped from a 3.8 to around a 3.2 last semester because I failed college algebra and got a c in another class. I will be retaking college algebra again during summer to replace the grade. I have all A's in my science classes just messed around in the other classes and didn't do to well. Hopefully I.can bring it up to a 3.4-3.5 by the summer. Does anyone have any info on if I will will still be considered with the 3.2 I have for now? Does anyone know anyone that has gotten in with this GPA? Any info would help and good luck to everyone applying.

Lol it's my first choice too.. I only applied to this school nothing else. Which could be bad for me on the long run but keeping my hopes up everything will go fine. I received a call and then two days later an email. Reason I received a call is because I called to inquire and lady was returning my call so I would just check out for the email.. dont worry too much.. u applied to main campus?

Yes dege they send an email to the email you used when you applied and they also send you an invite through vip page under events/interviews.. Don't worry you will receive soon.. there is time

Just had my.interview today. It isnt that bad the people there are very nice. Dont stress too much guys.. im sure everyone will do great

I just got my an invitation letter for the interview, can you please tell me what kind of questions they ask you for the interview?

They ask very general questions. Why do you want to be a nurse. 3 good qualities you possess etc. 5 questions and 1 group question you will all have a chabce to discuss

I had taken the Kaplan exam last monday for Barry University, the science portion for me was horrible however I aced the math portion, but my overall was like a 65% do you recommenced any studies habbit you did after you took the Kaplan the first time and how did you score on your first kaplan and on your second kaplan.

On my first I scored a 72 I took at florida national university and then on my second for nova I scored an 85 overall. I didnt study the second time for math or reading at all I studied solely on writing and science since I aced also math and reading got 95 on both.. and for the second I just concentrated on science and writing and managed to.score a little higher

Sorry for the late reply. I did an appeal with mdc for the F I received in mac1105 and yesterday I just got a letter in the mail saying it was approved so It got erased off of my transcripts and my gpa is back up to a 3.6 now. I am missing stats, micro, and mac1105 which I just signed up for the summer and am sending my new transcripts over to nova so they can see my final classes in progress and hopefully give me an interview. Congrats to all of those who have already been accepted and good luck to those still waiting to be accepted.
