Not sure if I should go ahead with this program or wait for the decisions of other programs I applied to

Published

I have applied to a few ABSN programs. One school has it set up so that I take my remaining prereqs there this coming semester (1/25/2021) and take the TEAS (which I just learned today I have to take before Feb 1, 2021). After that the nursing admissions committee will look at my application and officially decide if they will let me in for the fall 2021 term. While I meet the min. GPA requirements for the school (min 2.75 science GPA-I have a 3.0, and min cgpa 3.0-I have a 3.19), I have a C+ in the microbio and chem prereqs. They recommend a B- or higher in prereqs (I did not learn this until after submitting my application). I'm still not sure if I should go through with it. This option is good because it is in the area, I have somewhere to stay, I am close to family, and I am in the process of getting my driver's license ( I need 60 hours of practice with a licensed driver-hence one of the reasons it is good to be near family who can help/have been helping me with that for the next few months). I spoke with my advisor for the school today and she said that my essay was strong/unique and did not seem too concerned about my prereqs assuming I do well in the remaining ones/TEAS. I have not started studying for the TEAS at all ( and I know I will be tested on some Chemistry there :/).I still have one program that will send out decisions later this month or early February. I may still be applying to another. What do you guys think?
