Norwich PMHNP program

Hi, all

I'm looking for information regarding the PMHNP program at Norwich Uni. How was your experience with this school? Did they help you find a preceptor? How many times you had to travel to campus? Would you recommend this school to other students? 

Hi, I know this is an older post but can those who have went to Norwich PMHNP program provide their experience? Did you like the program? Was the course load doable with a full time job? Do the instructors provide guidance on exams? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

I postponed my enrollment due to family emergency. So far the admission process was smooth.

Hello,

I am currently attending Norwich PMHNP program. So far it's going good, I am in the 3rd term of the program. In my experience it is doable with a full time job. It has not been too difficult just very time consuming. But I am assuming that is all masters programs. There has not been any exams yet. We do a lot of discussions posts and long papers. The professors have been helpful with any questions and very involved. So far it's been going good! Hope this helps.

I appreciate the response. I am looking into Norwich, Washburn and some local programs (McNeese, Texas A&M). Do you know what the ANCC PMHNP exam pass rate is for Norwich? Thanks again for your response!

Are they any exams on the Patho/ health assessment/ pharm??

Hello - I am about to apply to the Norwich program for PMHNP.

I noticed there is no Advanced Health Assessment in the PMHNP track? unless I am missing something. Also does anyone else know a student is accepted into the program prior to Jan 2025 are they grandfathered into the current clinical hour requirement before it increases to 750 hours?

Advanced Health Assessment is listed under year 2. It would have to be there or taken before the program since the ANCC has made it a mandatory required course for PMHNP certification.

That's what I thought but if you look at "requirements" it is listed under all the programs except for PMHNP.  Mistake.

And the quality improvement class is listed twice
