Northwest Florida State College Reputation (Niceville, FL.)

I am fairly new here but have enjoyed reading and commenting on other's posts. I do hope that there are some students that are already in the nursing program at Northwest Florida State College than can help me out here.

I am scheduled to come in around October/November to take the mid term HESI, skills evaluation, and the dosage/solutions math test to be placed in NP III in January 2011. I am transferring from Pensacola Jr. College in Pensacola, Fl, and will be making about a 2 hour drive everyday out to Niceville. I am wanting to know about the reputation of the school.

Are you happy there? Are the instructors helpful and encouraging? What are your clinicals like? What are the times of day and how many days a week are you there for lecture/clinical? Are there instructors that I need to be aware of?

I am really excited about being able to transfer there, and the feeling that I get from the director is very friendly. Everyone seems so nice and they are doing all that they can to help me in my transfer. I just pray that this is not a waste of my time. Any input at all will be helpful. I am planning on doing all that I can to ensure that I will be starting in January 2011. I know that I will have to go for 2 terms, although I was only 1 term away from graduating from PJC. Thank you in advance! :twocents:

Hi! I can see that you posted this quite some time again, so I can only hope that you still check this site! I was wondering how your transfer went, as I am looking to do the same thing (except for transferring from about 7 hours away to NW). Any advice you can give would be awesome!
