Hello Christian Marie!
I posted a message on your other thread. I did not have to pass the NET to get into NWCC, however, I have almost completed the program so feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Congrats!! Is it really hard? I love to study and work hard so any kind of challenge will be great. I am taking Micro right now and it is okay. I am taking **** at the DeSoto campuse. Right now I have a 100 average in his class....the highest of my whole class. So as you can see I love to study.

It is a very difficult program, like most nursing programs. You definitely will spend alot of time studying, especially in the beginning. It doesn't get "easier" as you go along, which is what upperclassmen told my class...but you become more accustomed to the culture. It is very different than taking just pre-req's.
I have finished all my RN pre-reqs and was thinking about going ahead and starting on my BSN pre-reqs to fill in those lost hours. Have you taken any? I was wondering which ones would be the earsier ones that way I could take those during full semesters and taking hard ones during summer school or after I graduate.
I have taken everything except Chemistry, which I will take at the U of Mem during my RN-BSN program. I recommend that if you take Chem, you do it during the summer. Statistics is also a class that I would suggest taking during the summer.
Alot of your BSN pre-req's like sociology, marriage and family, psychology, nutrition, etc. can be taken online. Taking online classes has been a blessing because it frees up so much time...usually the only classroom courses I have are my nursing classes. Online classes tend to be easier than traditional courses, if you are self disciplined enough to handle that type of course work.

You should take Statistics online through NW with **** It's an easy class & All homework, tests, and even the final are open book online. She is great with giving you grace if you need a little extra time too. The reading assignments in the book are quick and the homework tells you immediately if you get the answer right or wrong and you get to keep trying until you get it right so you can get a 100 on all homework assignments (which is 1/3 of your grade).

Thank you so much for the insight. I tried taking a online course but it was hard but I also think that it depends on the teacher. Do you know any great teachers for those classes?
Thank you. What is statistics like? And I will probably take her when I get to that subject. Do you know any other good teachers for any BSN pre-reqs?
