Thanks but not sure if I'll actually be accepted. I live in Brooklyn so commute isn't bad.

Whoever got an interview, how did you get an interview? I applied to almost every fellowship and I have not heard back from one. I have work experience as a medical assistant and I have a good GPA. Does anyone know what they are specifically looking for or general advice on how to land an interview?

Its a combination of luck I think and how well your resume is presented. I included all my clinical experiences on my resume and since doing that, I've already had 2 private clinical interviews and two hospitals. I rejected the private clinics becasue I really want to work in a hospital, especially as a new grad.

I believe she is the recruiter for all fellowships.

Do they even let you know if you get rejected after you’ve interviewed?

No, pretty sure they will not notify you. I only found out after being very persistent.

She handles all fellowships so I’m told. So your on demand is sent by her, and I believe she decides who gets sent to the managers at the different fellowships. I was only contacted by another recruiter when it was time to schedule my interview with the team

I just got accepted into the critical care fellowship at lenox hill.

also I was in the periop fellowship at lenox hill back in 2018. It was a really good experience.
