Hello! Im hoping to connect with NAU BSN applicants for this upcoming fall. Feel free to share what campus you're applying for and any of your stats if you would like...
Looking forward to hearing from you, THANKS :)
I hope we get in too, I'm so nervous! I know the deadline is tomorrow but that just means we have to wait 4-6 weeks to find out the results. I wish we had more stats about the Tucson program. I haven't met anyone applying for that campus, and I'm not sure what the Tucson average scores were for last semester's applicants.
Hey AJNurse1988!
In terms of the teachers, advisors and staff, they were very supportive! At times it became hard due to some changes being made to the structure of the program itself, but as long as you build a good rapport with the faculty you'll have tons of support! What I like is that the cohorts are small (between 30 and 40 people, depending on the semester, and around 10 people in your clinical groups), so you get to know your instructors very well, and they in turn get to know you well as well!
Hopefully this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
I'm applying to the Flagstaff campus with a 3.77 GPA and a 95% on science and a 90% overall. I've been talking to my advisers about all of it and some say I'm competitive but others say it depends on the pool of people :/. I'm just nervous my GPA isn't high enough. Do you guys know how they calculate the bonus points?
Hey @pgeorge217, Im hoping to start classes at the NAU Tucson campus in fall. I think the CEP is a great option for those who live in phx since NAU doesn't have its own extended campus there. I hear nursing is great when you have a family and that getting your CNA helps with your clinical training! Good luck and stay confident! :)
Maddy5 I was wondering when you mentioned math does that mean statistics? And since you can use 1 stats class I fulfill both the stats and math requirement do they count your grade for that class twice?? I ask because I got a B which would be unfortunate.
Also I was wondering... if any of you are in the same position, I applied for the accelerated option for this year and didn't get in. I did have 2 courses in progress and the way the counted my gpa I think was different. The way they count the gpa here works in my favor. But...with the whole bonus points thing... do they have different ways of counting bonus points for the traditional program as opposed to the accelerated program?
I really hope all of us get in!!

We have similar stats sarah. I got an 85 on the kaplan, an 80 in science. This is my first time applying and I have a 3.7gpa. I haven't really met any other applicants, I hope we get in!!
