It's a little early but I just wanted to start this to see if anybody has heard from Northeastern University regarding an interview or decision. All posts about the school/application and acceptance process welcomed!! Looking forward to hearing from some people!
Thanks! I actually submitted my application back around August lol. My GPA is 3.42. Have about 300 hours volunteering at the hospital and also did some volunteering at animal hospitals and shelters. No paid experience so I don't really have anything special. I wouldn't stress about it. Seems like the older forums had their interviews done around February!
So I just got off the phone with the director of the FNP program and she really cleared up how this program is laid out. The entry-level portion (BSN) is completely on campus at Boston and the FNP portion is online. Once accepted into the program, your position in the master's program is secured. For example, I applied to the FNP portion, so after I obtain my BSN and have a year of experience, I will be guaranteed to continue my education in the FNP portion in 2019.
She says the director of the direct-entry program is supposed to schedule an interview with me next to talk about the direct-entry portion, and she will be in charge of any formal acceptances being given.
The interview was really easy. She only asked why I was interested in the FNP track and the rest was just talking about the program and answering any questions you have.
Goodluck to everyone!
Hey guys! I applied for administration dept and they just emailed me in regards to scheduling for an interview. I have the option of interviewing for the phone or in person. I live in California. I've also applied to University of San Diego, University of San Francisco and Samuel Merritt in Oakland for their Entry-Level Master program.
