I just wanted to see if anyone is applying to NEU's Direct Entry Program for this upcoming fall. I'm in the process of applying, with a specialty in psychiatric. Just wanted to see if there was anyone else that is also interested in their program.
If so, how has your experience been so far with the application?
Furthermore, if there's anyone already in the program? How was your application process, what specialty did you choose and how do you like the program so far?
I'm in the same boat right now :/ I am waiting to hear back from 9 other schools but Vanderbilt is the main one I want to hear from before deciding on Northeastern. I hope you hear back in time!
Wow! What 9 schools are you waiting to hear from? I am still waiting to hear from 5 including northeastern. Does anyone happen to know if they don't interview everyone? I still have not heard anything.
I'm still waiting on Vanderbilt, Columbia, Penn, MGH, OHSU, USF, Case Western, Yale, and Seattle U. Hoping to hear back from at least one or two more before February 9th. And what specialty did you apply to? I believe all interviews for PMHNP are done but not positive

I haven't heard anything back yet, i'm so anxious. It has been 8 weeks since the application deadline. I hope next month will be the end of waiting to find out.
Hi everyone! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted so far! I just got my acceptance from MGH which I am very excited about! I am still waiting to hear from Northeastern though. MGH is my first choice but right now looking at the money piece... seems MGH will cost 110,000 before fees, books, supplies, or living expenses. It is difficult to figure out how much Northeastern costs because they're not clear about the cost of the BSN portion. Does anyone have any ideas on how they're funding the cost of these programs? Are there any programs or scholarships I should be looking into? I am worried that the cost of this program is not commensurate with salary.
I'm wondering the same thing. I called yesterday and they told me the best way to reach someone is through email. I assumed we would hear something by now since its been a little over 10 weeks since the deadline.
