I just wanted to see if anyone is applying to NEU's Direct Entry Program for this upcoming fall. I'm in the process of applying, with a specialty in psychiatric. Just wanted to see if there was anyone else that is also interested in their program.
If so, how has your experience been so far with the application?
Furthermore, if there's anyone already in the program? How was your application process, what specialty did you choose and how do you like the program so far?
I received an email 2 days ago about setting up and interview. I sent my availability as soon as I saw the email and they haven't gotten back to me. Do you think I should call or wait one more day?
@rjp55 I'm in the same boat as you! I applied under pediatric primary care and waiting for a response back. I've looked on previous NEU-ELMP threads and from what I'm understanding is that admissions are giving out notifications and interview invitations based off concentrations. Peds might have not started sending out invites yet (at least not that I am aware of). We just need to keep positive vibes and wait :)
@rjp55 and @rjhern92 I'm in the same position - anxiously awaiting to hear back from the peds director. Can you both tell me a bit about your background/experience? I'm still finishing some prerequisites this semester.. which may not be super attractive to them.
Does anyone know the way that waitlists at Northeastern work? Based off previous threads it seems unclear to me whether or not they have rejection letters.
I'm so nervous. I'm also applying for PMHNP.
