Northeastern Direct Entry 2021

Hi everyone! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone else who applied to the Northeastern Direct Entry Program for 2021!

I sent an email last week asking for an update and they said they are still reviewing applications

Hey guys! I just got an email from one of the graduate assistants and they told me that they’re hoping for all decisions to come in end of March or early April ? 

I have no idea what to do because my other programs deadline is Feb 22

The director of the direct entry program told me this week... I wonder why they’re giving us all different timelines

It could be that different specialities have different timelines? I don’t know why that would be the case. Hopefully it is this week so we can all rest easy!

I hope so. I informed them of my other deadline so I’m not sure if that rushes anything or not but I didn’t specify a specialty unless she pulled up my application to check before letting me know.

Oh wow, that's so late! I hope that's not the case because I have to let another school know by 3/15

LOL this is so frustrating because I was told mid- February.

Okay I'm gonna call them today and see what they say to me. End of March/Early April would be have me ????? the wait is killing me! especially considering every school has different timelines, I'm scared I'll end up putting the $500 deposits down for every school ????

Same here ?let us know what they say! Hopefully ambers information was the accurate one ??

It just concerns me that they’re disorganized. I wonder what their curriculum is like if admissions is this crazy or if it’s really just covid causing hiccups.

Yes please update! I feel like most people would have already committed to other schools by end of March/April.

Yeah I also think about this. I’ve heard that there has been issues with communication in the past. My friend said she never got a response from them when she applied. I also know someone that didn’t receive a response and when she contacted them they said she had been accepted. Super weird
