Years ago I met with the director of this program and really loved it. Over the past 2+ years I've been doing the prereqs and volunteering at a hospital. It began to go to the backburner because I felt an accel BSN would be a better choice. Well now that I am ready to apply I can't get this program out of my head as being the top choice. SO I'm aiming on the GRE's for Sept to apply for their deadline. Just wanted to see if any students could provide some input on their experience there, and post graduation. I had a NP a few years ago at Harvard Vanguard in Copley who was a graduate and said such great things. I also can see that only Northeastern students get these intern positions at MGH (I'm sure there are internships open to all as well, but I see just Northeastern ones- I'm an employee at Partners). This makes me think they have an advantage... anywho, any feedback would be sooo greatly appreciated!!:redbeathe
I'm still waiting too! Admissions basically told me last week that the program coordinator is updating them as decisions are made, so if my decision was not up already, it "probably will be soon."
At this point, even though NEU is definitely a top choice for me, it's not even so much about whether or not I got in ... I just want to know one way or the other!!
Are all of you waiting and anticipating people who had interviews? I didn't get an interview but when I called admissions they implyed that they were still giving them out? I don't know if this was just a tactic to avoid stating that I was rejected over the phone.
I interviewed in February as well. Since I was told that all decisions would be out by April 1 at the absolute latest, I doubt they are still interviewing at this point.
Yeah, I also had an interview in late Feb, but I feel pretty insecure about how it went. They said at the interview they would start sending decisions mid-march, for sure by April 1st. So this week seems like the hot week! Please please please...@jenki, I totally relate. I dont care at this point (though I hope to god I got in), just put me out of my misery one way or another!!
Hey everyone! I'm officially new to this site, however I've been monitoring this discussion for weeks! I'm going crazy, just like the rest of you. I did have an interview for the DP-Psych track in late February. This morning I received an e-mail from the GA that was greeting interviewees on the day I was there. She said that the electronic applications will be updated this week. So a few more days at most! NEU is definitely my top choice. Hopefully we'll all be getting some good news by the end of the week!
Hi everyone, just wanted to share and say my application status was updated and I was accepted into the PNP-AC track. I interviewed with the school on Feb. 24th. My decision was available 3/16 and I just checked it today. Hopefully this sheds some light about timing of decisions. Good luck!
