NorthBay Medical Centre Sep 2024 cohort

Good morning! I was wondering if anyone has applied to the NorthBay Medical Centre new grad program for this year's September cohort. I wanted to start a thread just in case anyone had questions or insight that could be helpful to the rest of us in the same boat 😊 

Just got the rejection email today. Did anyone else get an interview yet? If so what are you stats. Is this a hospital where you have to know someone in HR to get an interview?

Same here. Do you have your BSN? I know that was a requirement on the application. My BSN won't be conferred until August so I'm thinking that's why I got rejected

I was rejected last night not sure if it's cuz I don't have my BSN until august

I got my ABSN in April 2024 but have not taken my NCLEX yet. Though having the license wasn't required until the start date. Oh well.... /:

I'm so sorry. Have you tried any other new grad programs? It seems so impossible with all the out of state people applying saturating the market

I know right !!?

Yes I have a few still pending and will hopefully have updates this week.  Born and raised and went to nursing school in the Bay but that unfortunately doesn't help stand out 😕

Good morning friends!,

I just reviewed the email and it wasn't mandated that we have our BSN prior to applying, just before the cohort start date obvi along with passing the NCLEX.  I haven't heard anything yet but she did say that they've been very competitive lately which one of my friends said as well.  I graduate in August.

Has anyone heard back for an interview? I'm getting anxious

Application still said "in review" for me. Hopefully we will hear something by the end of this week.
