NorthBay Medical Centre Sep 2024 cohort

Good morning! I was wondering if anyone has applied to the NorthBay Medical Centre new grad program for this year's September cohort. I wanted to start a thread just in case anyone had questions or insight that could be helpful to the rest of us in the same boat 😊

Check your spam. The link may be in there. It's a 114 question assessment. Basically a personality assessment of sorts. It doesn't take too long. About 20-30 minutes.

Yeah I just checked my spam and its not there and not in my inbox either? 🥲 I'm not sure what to do or who to contact about that

Did you get the confirmation email after you submitted your application? There are instructions in there of another way to access the assessment if it doesn't pop up for you in the next few hours. Mine came up pretty fast as well. The assessment email will be from "Assessment Team" and the confirmation email has "workflow" in it.

Yeah I did get a confirmation email like right after I submitted the app, I'll try to access the assessment through that email! Thanks for the help!

So one friend said it took two months but there were some changes happening during that time but the other friend said it was two weeks. And the cohort sizes can vary. The two week friend  said 13 were chosen out of the largest pool they've had. The two month friend I think there were 8-10.

Wow I thought it would be much larger. I guess the next question would be how many people applied.

I think a lot of the time they hire based on department need. I was trying to find a posting for any past cohorts to get a feel but I haven't seen any since I think 2011 or '13. So yeah, we'll just have to wait and see. Anyone wanting specialties?

I did not specify any specialty but rather that I'm flexible and willing to be placed in any unit.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has heard back from NorthBay? I know some have received a rejection email. But wondering if they have sent out invites for interviews?
