Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, we have been getting ready for finals this week. Yes, you will still be able to get in, I have three classes this last semester and had no problem getting in. When you go for your interview you will get paperwork for each of the instructors you have a class with, they have to fill it out(basiclly asking your grade in the class) and you return it to the office. They do look at GPA at prior schools, but it does not play a major(at this time) role in your GPA taken at NMTC.

So how does the interview go? Is it just one person or more? And who does the interview? Thanks

There is a board of five people, they all ask one question and you have to give your answer to the entire group on the board. The questions are mainly based on personal experience and to see how well you think on your toes. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I really don't have any prior medical experience though. I worked in Medical Records at an Oncology office. But other than that I have none. Is that are real big factor to them in determining if your a good candidate?

There are a couple of people that have no medical experience and they got in, the interview is more a judge of character and how you work under pressure.

Ok thanks! My interview is tomorrow! So let's hope I do well on it lol.......... My GPA is a 3.6 and I'm pretty sure I got a good score on the DET so maybe i'll get in :)

That is great!!! We will be seeing you next week, the first quarter was fun, now I think the real work will be just starting for me. I have clinicals in six different locations, ranging from Rome to Atlanta, oh the traffic!!! Hope to see you around school, good luck!!
