North Carolina NCLEX taker!

I live in South Carolina, right below Charlotte. I won't be able to take the NCLEX-RN until May '06, but can take the PN one late July. Our instructors said that we would get our results in three days but I'm not sure how? It was just nice to see someone in the general area. Good luck to you!

Does anyone live in North Carolina. We are not one of the states who can receive results through Pearson Vue, so i was wondering if anyone knows the best way to get the results (without having to wait a few weeks)???

I recently took the NCLEX-RN in NC (6/10/05) and the quickest way to find out if you passed is to call the NC Board of Nursing's automated licensure verification line to see if a license has been issued to you. I tested on a Friday, and on the following Tuesday, a license had been issued to me so I knew then that I had passed the exam. You can also verify licenses via their website, but the license information will show up first via the automated line. The number is (919) 881-2272. I hope this helps.

I took mine in Winston-Salem on a Friday. The next Wed, I got a letter from BON telling me I had passed my NCLEX, but my CBC was still being processed. About two weeks after that, I finally was able to get my license number from the BON system. -Andrea

I took my test Friday, June 3rd, and by the following Friday, June 10th, I had the license in my hand. BON processes results Tuesdays and Fridays, and I do not think there is a matter of a few weeks waiting.

Thanks for the info. I take the NCLEX on the 28th and leave for vacation for 10 days on the 29 of June. I won't be home to get the mail!!! Oh well, I should just enjoy the "not knowing".

I took my NCLEX for NC on 6/21/05. I have no idea how I did. I am (not so patiently) awaiting my results! I got 158 questions which I believe is a bad sign and I thought it was hard. I am hoping that I can check the phone number tomorrow (Friday). I realize that you can find out if you passed by checking the website or phone line, but do you have to wait for the mail to find out you failed? Good luck to you!
