From what I've seen in job postings in my area, they want you to already have a few years of acute care experience. I'm not sure if they strictly heed their own requirements, but for people looking for non-acute care jobs who can't find one and would like a job such as these, it doesn't help the situation.
A good agency that matches the right patients with the right newbie nurse with sufficient training and orientation should be a great way to launch your career.I got a job with home health. They do hire new grads and will train you. I don't want to hear how they shouldn't I will be fine. I really like my little agency and am confident I will be a great HH nurse.

Hi, I am a new grad nurse and haven't had a job yet. I am afraid that i will forget what i have learned in nursing school.
Since the hospital job market is so tight, I am thinking of non clinical jobs like insurance agency. does anyone know the website that i can go to?
Do they require any advance degree to work for insurance agency?
thx
