No longer a PRE nursing student!!!!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I am so excited to say that I have been ACCEPTED into my nursing program!!! I will start in January! I can't believe it is real now....wow! I have orientation on Dec 19th and I am just so darn excited, well and very nervous too :nailbiting:. To everyone else out there waiting to hear, I wish you all luck!! I will see you over in the general nursing student section!

Woo hoo congratulations

Congrats to the OP. But seriously, nursing school was not that bad.

1. Try and read as much material before your class as you can.

2. Understand the basics/foundation of any course

3. Ask questions till you understand

4. Practice questions.

5. Don't lag behind reading materials; it is more difficult to get caught up and then it begins to feel overwhelming

6. Have fun every now and then

7. Enjoy the time/journey

Congrats! Enjoy your last few weeks of having free time, lol.

Congrats!!!! What were your stats if you dont mind me asking?

Thank you!! I am not sure what stats you mean as every school is different... I can elaborate but I need more info :)

Lol congrats! I know that feeling... hard work ahead of u.. I didn't expect so much but you'll do great!

Congrats! First semester was a ginormous systemic whole body shock for me. But it's almost over and I can not believe it!!!!!!! (excited much?) :yeah:

LOL I can only imagine at this point... I am excited... but I am also in a bit of panic if you will! I know I can do this... I WILL do this!!! Congrats to you!!!! Thanks for the post!

Go to the library. Right. Now. Get out a stack of fun stuff to read. Read it. Get a pedicure. Clean your residence top to bottom. Go out to a movie with friends. And then get ready to do none of those things again for a while!

Seriously, it's a heck of a ride, but I wouldn't have traded it for anything, and I love my job now. As my husband likes to tell me on my way in to work, "Do good and do well!" Congrats and best wishes to you!

Oh yes... I have done my research lol... I am sure that the next 2 years will be just chaos, but I know it is worth every minute. My husband is very supportive, and my daughter is now 10 years old, and just as excited. This is for the betterment of our family, and they know it.... but I know it will NOT be easy!! It will definitely be worth it though :)

Woo hoo congratulations

Thank you!!

CONGRATS!!!! I can't wait to be there!
