Hey am thinking of moving to Ontario from the USA, am already applying for the NP license, what is the job market and is it better in other Canadian states?

Canada doesnt have states. We have provinces and territories.
Read this forum. Our job market is discussed frequently.

I'll give you an example. A friend of mine moved from Alberta to Ontario 2 years ago... before the serious slump in the Canadian economy really got rolling. She is qualified as a pediatric NP and has worked in neurosurgery, ENT, respirology and critical care. It took her months to just get a foot in the door and she is working as a staff nurse right now.

There is a need for experienced NPs in remote and isolated First Nations communities.
Its a first time post. Most likely doesn't like the idea of president trump. From the phrasing used, has no knowledge of Canada.
Not an ideal candidate for up north.

I wouldn't move anywhere OP unless you have a written offer. The Canadian economy was bad prior to the oil slump. Since then, it's much worse everywhere. There are many casual and temp positions, but few full time lines.
