No apparent rhyme or reason to issuing licenses

I am writing because I am feeling confused, sad, and overall just irritated I suppose. I took my NCLEX 9 days ago. The majority of my classmates had their results in a matter of 2-4 hrs. A few had to wait 3-4 days. I am going on day 9 with no official results or license issued. I emailed my state nursing board.  I was basically just told it is being reviewed and they get to it when they get to it. If my NCLEX results are actually being reviewed, they would be done. Clearly, it does not take 9+ days when the majority of my classmates have results the same day.  

The wait is stressing me out. I feel like the response I received was not only lacking compassion but likely verging on a brush-off. This process is entirely out of my hands and I feel completely powerless.
