I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
Hi thank you for your reply. Yes, i was able to send them both reference forms and i even uploaded my detailed cv. Im not sure whether they were accepting chief nurse as someone with higher position than i am? I tried to send email to my assessor but she was not replying.
I believe they are accepting a chief nurse as a reference. Did you just have one person as a reference? I think they need two different people to fill up the form for you, not just one. If not, then I suggest you call NMC to clarify.

So when your forms were finally delivered, did you email NMC after a few days to check your status or you just kept on checking your portal until such time it was updated that you were in the assessment queue already? Mine was delivered on June 28 and up to this day my portal hasn't been update yet. I'm not quiet sure if they will post or send you an email if they have indeed received your complete forms. If anyone could share their experience while waiting for their DL, it would be highly appreciated :)

It will reflect on your NMC portal if they already received all your documents. Mine took 15 days to be reflected. Once everything is received, then that's your Day 1 of being entered into the assessment queue. They will assess that within a maximum of 60 days but if there are no further clarifications, usually in 30 days or so, you will be issued a DL. Others received theirs even less than 30 days. Has anyone submitted 2 registration verification forms ?
After 30 calendar day waiting for the decision letter, I have phoned the NMC to track my application, and they found that my registration forms were with the same barcords, causing a delay in assessment. Now, they said they are helping me to upload another correct plain form with the right bar cord. This is REALLY frustrating as there was no communication ever in the past month, so I thought there was no problem at all!! Anyway, it is a lesson learned.
Has anyone had same problem as mine before? How long did it take to get your decision letter?

I did the same thing because I noticed that there was a "resubmission" a verification form. I realised that there is something wrong and it was indeed because I sent a duplicate of first verification form.
I just received my DL today after 28 working days.

You need to click submit again. I uploaded it and sent it as an attachment to my assessor's email just in case. Both worked, and I got DL the day after.
