2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

World Registration

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Royal Marsden :)

Hi! I've read that you are also bound to Royal Marsden. We have the same trust. Do you have already possible date of deployment?. Thank you.

Hi! Yes, on the 25th. Check your inbox. :)

Hi! I just received a feedback today and my assessor requires me to upload full employment details under "additional ID." When I checked my portal, my application is still on a "read only" format. Hence, I am unable to upload my CV. What should I do about it? Please help. I am really anxious on this waiting game for the DL. Today is my 46th day in the queue.

Hi, guys!

I just got my DL earlier. It was rally a relief since I thought they were going to ask me for the theoretical breakdown in hours which my school failed to include in the mail. Good thing they did not. Anyways, here's my timeline:

March: Pased IELTS

July: Got accepted by NHS Trust in Prescot

September: Passed CBT

October 30: Completed al the documents, got on que.

December 22: Asked to upload CV

January 2: Asked for Declaration for the gaps i employment (My fault for giving the wrong dates?

January 11: DL.

So I hope this helps! Keep the faith!

Congratulations to those who recently got their DLs and visa.

I finally got my DL after being on the queue for the 3rd time. For those who are waiting for their DL, just be patient. When in doubt, it is best to seek help from your agencies, as they have first-hand experiences on different NMC issues.

I am very happy to have chosen ASC to help me pursue my dream. I have now been endorsed to their Deployment team to process my COS and visa.

You are free to send me a message if you have any questions regarding the NMC process. I will be glad to help!

Good luck, future UK nurses!

Hello guys.

I am on que on Nov 27 but until now I have not received any feedback from them/assessor. It is really frustrating. My documents submitted will expire soon also. The last email that I have was from NMC stating that the process will take longer than 60 days and they said sorry for the delay.

Dude if you've just been in qeue on nov. 27th you'd be very lucky to hear from NMC now. Give it at least 50 calendar days before you hear anything from them. If you've been there longer, then call them and clarify the delays.

Hi,what documents are you referring to?I'm also concerned with my police clearance from SG since it's been three mnths already from the date of issuance. Btw, I was on queue last nov. 30.

Hi fellow nurses. I entered the queue on August 29, received my DL on November 7, got my COS on December 15, and now finished applying for the UK Visa last January 3. My agency opted for the priority service which guarantees processing time of 5 days. If you have any questions on the NMC process especially the DL let me know. I've also experienced being queried and luckily it only added an additional 10 days of waiting time.

Hi! May I know your agency? I am still currently waiting for my COS until now.
