2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

World Registration

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

NMC Decission Letter Timeline.

Entered Queue: October 30, 2017

Received Decision Letter: December 20, 2017

Total Waiting Time: 51 Calendar Days or 38 Working Days

Today is my 24th day on the que. I am hoping to have a feedback for the coming weeks.

Hello guys! I have some questions. When does the NMC validity period on the form starts to count? Is it from the day you sign the documents or from the day you joined the queue or from the day you pass your CBT? Secondly, I can't collect my degree certificate because of a national strike action by the staff responsible to issue my certificate, but I have my statement pf results. Will this be accepted? Thanks for your replies.

Re: NMC Decision Letter

Please help! I have been on a waiting game for months.

Original queue date: 30 August

Feedback: 24 October- had to correct IELTS TRF, submit UK Police Certificate, a clearer NBI copy and explanation of my employment gap.

Resubmitted application: 29 November

I waited for about a week for my DL be released or at least a feedback after resubmission, but I did not get any. I then called the NMC and was told that I have to wait for 30-60 days (AGAIN)!!!

Did anybody experience the same? I just find it unfair and frustrating as I have to wait for months again.

Based on what I've been reading, DLs are usually released few days after resubmission.

Dude, call them and ask for an explanation, 70 days is the maximum period that you should be on qeue. Resubmission does not mean you will go back to day 1, it should have been days only. You go on and call them and ask for explanation about your case. You are way overdue for a DL man.

Thanks for your reply. When I did the resubmission, I received an auto-reply that my assessor, was on a holiday and won't be back until the following week. I just can't believe that they've made it this hard to wait and made you wait longer.

My NBI almost expired (they only accept 3 months old) when I heard a feedback from them, and that they wanted me to submit a clearer and more recent one. I always have a "hit" and everytime I request for one would take at least 13 days.

I am afraid they would do this to my IELTS and Declaration of Good Health, as both has now expired.

I hope others won't experience the same because it's really hard to focus if you have something in mind that bothers you, for months.

My police clearance is going to expired also. This is actually a problem for us because nmc takes a lot of time to process our application. Once it reached the assessment stage, our papers are already finished. Sad, but they should consider this happenings. It is a burden for us plus it costs time and money.

Hi guys I am on the process of completing my forms did you use pdf for the uploads?

Hello! I'm new here. And I'm experiencing the same thing.

I got on queue: 24 October

Feedback: 13 December (Upload a signed declaration of clarification regarding my employment gap)

I had a problem with my account because the file is not showing up on the portal but when I called them, they said that my application is back on queue and accordingly another 30-60 days for feedback. The problem is that the file they were asking is not showing up. So, I made a call regarding it and they advised me to send an email to the overseas dep regarding what happened and attach the file. I was able to send it last 15 December. I'm still waiting for the reply and it's extremely making me anxious.

Hoping anyone can give me some idea on what to do or should I just wait/call them if they were able to receive my email. :(

Yes. All of the uploaded files should be jn PDF.

Thanks Nikka9095! Regarding the declaration gap. Did you made an explanation letter or they gave a form?

Welcome.

No forms. I just made a letter explaining the gaps, signed, scanned and sent it through email because I was not able to upload it through the portal :(

Guys, how long did it took you to receive the CoS after receiving the DL? I received mine 3rd week of nov and I already completed my medical and tb testing. Thanks!
