Thanks for the response! Another question: does it automatically mean I'm already on queue once my sent documents are already posted on my portal?

I was also wondering about this note: "If your name has ever been changed you must submit documentary evidence below:

(Note: We accept Marriage Certificates or Change of Deed/Deed Poll Certificates)." Did any of you guys see this? I had my first name changed but that was in 2004 and I haven't submitted anything that still had my old first name on it. I haven't received any email from nmc about it as well.

Also.. hehe last but not the least... they WILL send an official email if they need additional documents from me right?

Yes, if all the submitted docs were scanned and reflected on your portal then it means you are already on assessment queue.

Yes, you must submit the nec. docs if you once changed your name. You won't receive any emails from nmc about it if you're docs aren't assessed yet and still on queue. Only after their assessment that they will inform you if they believe you still have some lacking docs or if you need to submit papers about the change of name or status.

Yes,you will receive an email from the nmc about the needed additional papers after being assessed by the nmc assessment officer assigned to your case, and the resubmission feedback will also be displayed on your portal.

hi.. I just received my dl yesterday.. I entered the assessment queue last jan 12. Maybe next week your dl will be released. Let's hope and pray. Anyway, are you under asc?

hi.. I just received my dl yesterday.. I entered the assessment queue last jan 12. Maybe next week your dl will be released. Let's hope and pray. Anyway, are you under asc?

Yeah, me too! I entered the queue on March 1st, if what they say is true about the 'last document' received. But I also emailed the NMC just to make sure!

I will have to look into GHR, I'm not too familiar with the different agencies. How is your experience with them? Would you recommend them to others? (I wouldn't recommend you be too candid on here... haha)

Hahaha I guess no agency is perfect. I can say they're alright, I guess. Actually, IPAMS made me a better offer (£1000 difference), but I had already signed up with GHR so I didn't have a choice. It was my mistake, I know. I suggest try to apply to as many hospitals as you can, then compare offers before you decide. :)
