Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Yeah I dunno about having it filled up with a charge nurse, because in our hospital, we often shouldered the burden of being a charge nurse...it was a functional method hospital. Unless by charge nurse you mean nursing supervisors? But I do like the idea of having it filled up by the charge nurse though. Ill keep that in mind, thanks!
Hi agatoinks! Just wondering, if you had put 'current' as your end date (that's for the barcoded form right?), what about the end date in your portal? Thank you. :)
Did you mean you transferred hospital or post/area?working for 6 years now and also been assigned to different areas, under one hospital. i just wrote CURRENT. That's what i've read from prev posts here but let's see if others did it differently. Let's wait for their suggestions too. Not really sure but so far, NMC haven't emailed me for clarification.. been on queue for a month now.
no need because you have provided the stamp/dry seal already. You only write an explanation letter if your employer doesn't have a stamp.
good luck! :)

If you don't have a charge nurse then have it accomplished by your nurse supervisor and the chief nurse :)
I guess that's a viable option. At least I'll have one referee that coincides with my dates of employment. I was toying though with an idea in my mind, what if I included a letter from each supervisor I had from different floors and times stating that I was under them because of our hospital's protocol? And that is why the dates I was under them are different from my employment dates, however, the starting date of my employment will coincide with my first supervisor's starting date, and the last day of my employment will coincide with my second supervisor's last date...
waaah CONGRATS!!! how was it?? So anxious!!!!
I honestly can say that it's basic. all you need to do is study how they want you to do it.. like verbalize everything, finish it in time. I think the pressure and panic, nervousness and stuff like that will REALLY affect your performance. we were crying after the exam because we thought we missed a lot of things, but.. tadaaa!

im so happy for you. your application struggle ends here. Were there changes as previously announced on the website?

it's your call, really, but to be honest, it's always better to stay in the safety net.. you know what I mean. you don't have to make things complicated really, just give what NMC asks for. The more complicated your documents are, the longer you will wait. plus, if the assessors find your papers questionable, they'll ask you supporting documents and your queue date will return to day1.
but it's your call, if you wanna do that just be sure you provide everything you think they'll ask for in the future just in case they find your application with complexities.
anyway, as I said earlier, I am not sure if others have answered the forms differently and if it's acceptable... this is just my opinion based from how I answered mine. :)

Oh so different supervisors as well. In our hospital, we have only one nursing supervisor who works like an assistant chief nurse.
I suggest, have it accomplished by one charge nurse.. and the chief nurse. TO BE SAFE. So that you have the same start date and end date for both forms.
It MIGHT also be okay to put diff end dates but im not really sure since I did not do that and I opted to just have the same dates on both forms.
