NMC Test Online

Hi guys!

My CBT is coming up soon and am finding it hard to retain everything I am reading from the Royal Marsden book, I have been studying with the code and the blueprints and feel I have a good handle on all of that.

My question is, has anyone successfully taken the CBT without reading the Royal Marsden book?

Thanks to God the almighty. My husband and me received our DL on December 1&2. releaved from a great stress. Thank you all nurses for ur comments and guidance.

My husbands timeline

Ielts: April 1

CBT: June 8

Started NMC process: july first week

Entered in queue: August 18

Recevied a resubmission: September 27

Resubmission on : October 12

Re-entered in queue: October 30

Recevied a query mail from NMC on November 30

Finally received his DL---- DECEMBER 1

Really happy though it was a long run... ðŸ˜ƒðŸ˜ƒ

My Timeline

IELTS clubbed score: June 30 ( that day the rule had changed)

CBT first attempt: July 15 failed

CBT second attempt: August 18 passed

Entered in the queue: September 26

Resubmission mail: October 21( additional registration was asked to submit and they lost my transcript í ½í¸ží ½í¸ž)

Resubmitted those papers on : October 27

Re entered in the queue: November 11

Recevied DL : December 2

Tips

Try to avoid invisible/light seal or stamps.

Mention dates correctly on papers.

Include additional registrations wherever u worked. Include other state registrations wherever u worked in India.

Only one PCC required from one country no need for separate PCC from other states. And PCC is valid only for 3 months for NMC.

Attach clear transcript with college seal and principal signature with the document sending from college where you studied.

Write still working outside the reference boxes with start date and end date( mention any latest end date don't leave it blank).

Notary attested birth certificate for safety.

Fill additional training details about care of elderly, the second downloaded paper, if you are from india. Write hours more than 40 and get sign and seal from college. Because there is no separate hours for elderly care in old Indian syllabus but added in syllabus after 2010.

Try not to submit any experiences that you have before registration in any state. For safety fill registration restriction paper also if you have any unlicensed practice.

Otherwise get experience letter and mention start date of working from the date of nursing registration only.

Not necessary to add MSC or higher qualifications. All are basic band 5 in uk í ½í¸‰í ½í¸‰

Better scan and keep all papers you are sending to uk if possible.

Always download new copy don't xerox it since the barcode won't be clear.

Hi!is there a chance that you will be asked to resubmit even if all the files on the portal were already tagged as "this document has been received"? My documents were tagged as received since November 24 and I have no idea if Im already in the queue

S there is a chance, if they have any query. Usually it will be marked as document received more information required in ur portal. I think u r in the queue from 24, if it showed in ur portal as document received on that day. Wait for your turn..

Hi!

I just want to ask about my nmc application, I have submitted by barcoded forms last November 16 and it arrived in UK on November 21, but I still lack one form which is the registration authority verification which i recently received from Saudi and yet to be sent to NMC this week, It's been two weeks already and I haven't received any feedback from nmc if they have received my requirements. Do you think it has something to do with the lacking form? Or is this a common occurrence? Hope to get an answer from you guys.. thank you in advance!ðŸ˜Š

They dont give feedbacks when the received your document. It will only show in your portal "this document has been received" and you won't join the queue unless all your barcoded documents was received. It took NMC for about two weeks for them to scan it and reflect in your portal saying "this document has been received"
