UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences
Updated: Published
So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.
I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

I'm wondering though, why it took time for the NMC to ask for resubmission, while they asked for resubmission the very same date they received my papers.
Hi. May I now the reason why you were asked to resubmit the transcript?

As far as I know, the test of competence part 1 (CBT) expires after two years. So you have to take OSCE by then.
Hello all,
This group really gave me hope. I got my dl today. Total days - 35
Queue date- 19th June
Got feedback- 16th july to resubmit health declaration form as they said they needed one which wasn't from my employer. Made several calls to know the reason why...was also asked to submit my IELTS TRF number , the previous one was wrong- my bad ?
Anyways....
Resent the form on 18th, received by NMC on the 22nd, re entered the queue on same day- made calls to make sure they received it
23rd july- Made another call today to confirm if received, the operator actually tried getting through to my assessor- at my request- and was told she was working from home, but would put my message across on resubmission of my docs
Got a mail later in the evening asking me to download my decision letter .
To anyone still waiting, don't relent, just be patient , it'll surely come through!
Good luck guys!

Hi and Congratulations! I would like to ask how did the NMC know that your declaration was from your employer? Did your doctor tick the "yes" box in the question if he/she has employed you?

Thank you! Yes the doctor ticked the yes box, hence the reason for rejecting

Hello, everyone! I am so glad to have found this thread. I am also processing my papers to receive a Decision Letter. As of now, I'm still waiting for my registration authority form to be finished (They're taking almost 3 weeks ugh) and it's the only thing lacking in my portal. Just have a couple of questions to anyone who may be so kind to answer:
1. I have read somewhere that there are some agencies or hospitals for which an applicant is bound that do not require you to wait for the decision letter before you could fly to UK. How true is this?
2. I have also read somewhere (yep, I read lots of forums online regarding people's experiences) that even when your documents have already arrived in their office, it will take a few days before they can be uploaded in the portal. Has anyone else encountered this? When my school form and good health arrived, they were instantly uploaded. I'm not sure with the registration form though.
