NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Helo bryansalan, a friend of mine entered queue last August 3 and she got her DL last week. By the way i'm also from Omanfil. I was put on queue last August 9, a day before yours, hoping that we will receive our DL by this week! Kindly update me if you got any email from NMC! :) Thank you :)

Hi, maj_omanfil. How are you? I finally received my DL yesterday at around 6pm. I am now finally relieved! I felt so anxious waiting for it.

Hi, everyone. I finally received my DL yesterday (Sept. 28, 2017). Here's my timeline:

April 8 - took IELTS

June 23 - passed CBT

July 31 - mailed my docs to NMC

Aug 1 - courier delivered my docs to NMC

Aug 10 - put on queue

Sept 28 - received my DL ( exactly 36 working days since I entered the queue)

I already informed my agency and they told me they will email me today. I am so relieved that I finally received my DL 'cause the waiting game made me so anxious everyday. Now I hope my CoS would go smoothly. BTW, my agency is Omanfil and hired my KCH.

Hi! I am hired by Addenbrooke's Hospital thru Omanfil. I just want to share my timeline and hope for some tips and advice:

March 2017- employer's interview

July 7- Passed UKVI IELTS

Aug 15- Passed CBT

Sept 14- NMC received my docs

Sept 15- NMC portal reflected my docs as "received"

ATM- waiting for feedback

Anyone with same assessment queue date as mine? hope to get some updates soon! God bless everyone!

My agency is also Omanfil under Whittington NHS. Did they already update you regarding the Cos or the possible deployment date?

Hi maj_omanfil

I haven't received any update regarding COS or deployment matters. do have your DL released? can they process our COS prior to DL release? thank you!

Hi guys.

A friend of mine already received her DL yesterday exactly 50 regular calendar days. I think your hunch is right Ms Maj, about 50 days is their standard processing of DL for applications queued on August. She's lucky too because her assessor emailed her after she got the DL asking to resubmit the declaration of good health form because it was completed by her former employer. It won't affect her DL as her assessor just placed a note on her application and she just need to send it to her assessor by email. Anyway, I'm still waiting and hoping that my DL will come on the 50th day too. I entered the queue on Aug. 15. Good luck too all!

Not really. I guess it's a case to case basis and also depending entirely on the assessor. I have a friend who got her DL after only 30 regular calendar days.

Hi Irenjazzel,

I am not sure if that is possible. Actually, i already have mine but they told me to wait until next month before they can issue my cos. By the way, are you done with your medical? I was not informed regarding the 3 months validity so i need to retake it prior to visa processing. :(

Hi Bryansalan,

Did you receive any updates from Omanfil regarding your cos and deployment date?

Hi Maj_omanfil!

I have not done my medical yet... do mean the TB test at IOM or another medical? i have not done any except that one for declaration of health... I've heard from a co-applicant that COS and deployment date are withhold by omanfil or employer (im not sure) until they gather enough number of nurses to be deployed in 1 hosp... But anyways atleast you're done with your DL.. God bless and hope you will have your COS soon...

Hi Bryansalan,

Did you receive any updates from Omanfil regarding your cos and deployment date?

The one directly supervising my application is out of town so she has not given me any info about my CoS nor the deployment date.

Hi, how many medical exams do we need before a visa is issued? I am aware of the following:

1. Medical exam which will be the basis for the Declaration of Good Health

2. TB screen at IOM (International Organisation for Migration)- Xray only

Do we need another medical test for visa application? Thank you!
