NMBI Application Pack

Hi everyone,

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.

I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.

The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.

I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Around 8:30 pm philippine time... it took 6 weeks and 1 day from assessment to decision pending...

Finally mine's already decision pending! After 6 weeks too! Maybe that's their latest time frame.

Congrats to those whose account changed to decision pending. I guess six weeks is the time frame now, that means I will wait few weeks more. Ughhhh

6 Weeks ?. I am really getting impatient here. My application completed 20 days in Assessment stage...

Hi Guys,

I got my DL last March but until now my agency hasn't find an employer for me. I'm planning on changing my agency. Any suggestion? Been waiting for so long already. :(

What agency are you with and what type of nursing do you do? Is it very specialized?

Congrats to those whose status changed to decision pending. Mine just changed from Further Info to Assessment last July 25, bummers. So basically, I only completed 9 out of 42 days(6 weeks). I just do a bit of traveling in the PH to entertain myself while waiting. Will do a countdown before I start contacting the NMBI folks again. I also don't bother to check my NMBI online account anymore as it's the same old story. xD

Hi @stellarinurse16, it took about 15 working days or 3 weeks for them to upload it in their system. I sent them an email after 15 working days.

Now on my 13th working day on Further Info Required. So I guess I have to wait until next week to send an email to them.. thank you!

I'm still on assessment stage also and on my 6th week. I'm so nervous I keep on checking them everyday haha.. Anyway, is there anyone here who will be assigned to the University of Waterford?

Hi I remember the feeling haha, at least ALLNURSES forum gave me something other than NMBI to check often LOL.

That's true! This post keeps me updated as well haha.. My friend will leave on the 17th already! We both applied around February but he finished processing his papers first. The next adaptation schedule would be on November. So, hopefully we can all be scheduled by then! :)
