I will be applying for the ADN program soon and was wandering what the NLN pre-admission test was all about and if there would be any studying I could do?

I will be taking the CQT (College Qualifications Test) , and I would assume its comparable to what you will be tested on.
My test are a series of ability tests-verbal, numerical and informative.
I plan to take my test next summer, so I'm am preparing to study for it with The Princeton Review, Inside The SAT & ACT 2004 Deluxe CD ROM, Available @ amazon.com It's a personalized study system.
Good luck to you, passing your entrance exam :)

Here's a link to their website. The test is made up of Vocab, Math and Science (Chem, A&P, Physicis) I took the test a year ago with out taking these classes yet, it wasn't too bad, took about 3 hours. Brush up on your basic math...things like fractions, ratios and percents and decimals.
There is a study guide for it that I used, found it very helpful. It gives some practice test that are similar to the real thing.
Good luck.

reading comprehension, antonyms, synonyms, general math up to first year algebra and some geometry, science: general earth and physics; some chemistry, biology and a couple of anatomy and physiology questions thrown in. A long exam. Studying for the science is pretty hard because the material covered is so broad in its scope.
