NLN-PAX Pre-admission for RN

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Where would I find practice exams for this test?

I took the PAX in 2010, so content may have changed. But at that time, I used the ATI HESI preadmission test study guide, and the "generic" nursing pre-entrance exam study guide published by McGraw Hill. I used a GED math review book to refresh my high school math skills, lol. And Cliff Notes general biology book for biology, which I had taken in 9th grade, haha.

My experience was that the HESI and Pax English, math, grammar were all the same content. The science was a little different, with the PAX concentrating perhaps more on ratios and proportions and solving for unknown and other math skills that are heavily used by RNs.

If you need to improve your grammar and English scores, probably a GED English review book would be good for that.

Thy make study guides I found one in my college library and made some photocopies instead of buying it.

also there is an app for smartphones by McGraw hill that I used. I scored lower inthe practice tests than the real thing.

I got the app and it seems to help and got the study guide!! Hoping that I can get refreshed on proportion and the other types that could be related to the nursing field!! I take the test Friday!!
