Hi All!!!

As many others, I'm sure, I have been searching all over this site at previous NJCU threads and figure I would try to start one for the new cohort of students applying to the 2018 program this year!! It would be great to hear from others and possibly help each other with questions and concerns! I know I have a few that I would love to put out there in case someone knows better than me!

It says the microbiology minimum credits is 3.. does this mean that I would not have to take a lab- those usually are 4 credits.. very curious because I could do that online this fall!

What is the total cost?

What is the scheduling like for each semester?

Anything else you could possibly give me advice on... I'm all ears!!!

I have a question about the accreditation: from what I had read online the school does not have CCNE accreditation but a NJ specific nursing accreditation. I also read that there was a CCNE walk through this past week so that they may acquire their accreditation from them. I'm wondering if this would be in effect for the Summer 18' cohort if it were acquired. I'm also wondering what not having a more nationally recognized accreditation would mean for graduates.

NJCU has been a CCNE accredited school since February 13, 2017. See the following link for more info:

Yep, shortly after I go in contact with the CCNE and we worked together to figure out their accreditation. I've applied and now just waiting to hear back.
