Hi everyone! I'm currently in the process of applying to NJCU's accelerated nursing program. Any current students or alumni have advice?
Anyone else out there applying to NJCU? Or any other accelerated programs in the NY/NJ area?
Hello class of 2018 :)
You must all be very busy but, I was wondering if you guys can answer some of my questions.
1) How is the program going overall?
2) How many people per class? Is it like 30 per class?
3) How many semesters are there?
4) Is tuition paid in 1 whole payment or in two?
5) How much is the parking for the whole year, I heard $8-10 per day?
6) Is there anything we should do before starting classes?
7) Any other advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very, very much for taking time to respond. God bless all and good luck.

Hi -
I need some advice - I'm planning to take online classes for pre requisite classes (university of Phoenix). Since I'm working fulltime, trying to make as much money as I possibly can before applying for the program, online classes seem ideal for me. Does anyone know if njcu will accept credits from online courses?? I appreciate the help!!!
ADVICE NEEDED!
I got accepted to another program and I have a two week deadline before submitting deposit. NJCU is my number 1 for fall 2018 and if I get in here I'd def want to go here. Should I just accept my acceptance to the other school and once I hear back from njcu, I'll decline or should i call admissions? I'm not sure what to do...
Hello!
I hope everyone's semester is going well thus far! NJCU JC BSN applicants just received the decision letters. I am curious to know how the future cohort can prepare for the program/what can we expect. Any advice or comments will be extremely helpful. I am so excited and anxious to get started!
Thank you!
hey jazmin,
i plan to take the hesi in a couple of weeks. im really nervous on the A&P and Bio section since I took those classes a long time ago and afraid I might do poorly on it. Would you happen to know if the hesi book would be helpful or are there any books you recommend that I should study from?
If I could do it all over again I would go the traditional route like through community college and then let the hospital pay for my BSN. That or choose a whole different career LOL. But if you want to be a BSN in 10 months then this is the program for you. It severely lacks in clinical experience. The classes are difficult but it’s doable. It’s a whole lot of cramming. You are pretty much just paying for a BSN. You’ll learn everything on the job when you start working.
