Hi! Just thought I would start a new thread for NJCU, 2014 applicants! - Any thoughts/concerns regarding the application process or help from alumni is greatly appreciated! I'm applying to the Wall cohort for this May.

Lizziefl21 just have it sent to NursingCas again, you can apply before they have the transcript. Hopefully they won't lose it twice.

I have to say the exam was not as bad as I thought it would be! I didn't even need to take a break, it took me about 3 hrs to complete. To those of you who have not taken it yet, don't stress! I took Math section first because that's the area I'm least comfortable with.

My goal was to get at least a 90% composite and I ended up with a 93% so I can't really complain. Although I just got an email about certain pre-reqs not being met when I sent in my transcript in 3 weeks ago! So whoever else is stressing over transcript/paperwork, I'm right there with ya!

So glad this exam is OVER! Good luck to anyone else that still needs to take it!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Wall and JC cohort deadlines have been moved back. The Wall cohort application is due on Feb. 28th, but I'm not sure what date the JC cohort has been changed to. I e-mailed NJCU to confirm, and they did. So if anyone's stressing about meeting the deadline, you can take a breath or two

I received and email saying I am missing pre requisites too! I had to get the chair of the department approve one course because of the title and now I'm having trouble with development pysch... this is so frustrating.

Have you taken your HESI yet? Is the admissions process going smoothly for you?

I'm applying for the Wall cohort but if wait listed I will definitely want to be considered for the JC campus. I'm super anxious as well! Can't wait until this is all over! haha

I am applying to the JC cohort. My application is complete at this point; it's been verified by Nursing CAS and I took the HESI this week (93). Now the waiting begins....

Anyone know when they are targeting to have acceptance letters out?

I've heard that they pushed back the admission date for wall campus to the 28th? So, I'm ASSUMING that the date of getting our letters will be pushed back as well? I hope not.

According to the FAQs listed on the ABSN Page it says that a decision will be make approximately six weeks after the deadline has passed. Yay for waiting!
