  1. New Grad RN, BSN - what was your experience as a new hire?

    • I did a nurse residency program which helped the transition. you should try to do it
    • The hospital that hired me had a good orientation and paired me with a preceptor, I feel like I got the same as a formal recidency
    • 0
      I had an orientation that wasn't really enough, but my preceptor was good and I learned a lot from them
    • they hired me and just threw me in - I wish there was more of an orientation period
    • they just threw me in and it worked!

Just graduated with my BSN (I did one of those second degree programs) and am getting conflicting advice about format, content, even certain grammer. Your advice would be SO appreciated! I'm currently a tech but (like all new grads) am desperately trying to get a job when I am licensed!! Thanks in advance!!!!!!! PS i tried to keep the format here the same as I have in my actual file
