Does anyone knows how long it takes to obtain nj license after fingerprint is completed?

If you already have taken and passed the NCLEX exam, then best would be to check on the NJ forum.
One is not permitted to even sit for the exam for NJ until they have gone thru the fingerprinting process.

Hello bearone
Did you take fingerprint in your application? I never saw this requirement in Minnesoda's application form!
Thanks
Not all states require fingerprints. If your state does, then it would have told you so in the application for licensure.
NJ requires fingerprints, so that needs to be done before they will even permit one to test.
i just passed nclex but i have ny license-i am trying to obtain nj license they ask me the following items:finger print with back ground check ,photo, notorized papers and $200 .It seems like it will take 6 weeks or more.
You are going to be endorsing to NJ. They will not even look at your application until they have the fingerprint report given to them.
Yes, it will take about that time to get a license from them, it is not going to be sooner as it takes a couple of weeks for them to get the fingerprint report alone.
