I am planning to apply RPN to BSN programe in 2021. My options are Nipissing or Athabasca online . Please advise which one is better in less work load as I would also be working full time .

I agree that Nipissing University is better for clinical placement locations if you live on Ontario. Each school has pros and cons.

I heard that with Athabasca, there are not true deadlines in courses. It's more go at your own pace, which requires motivation. Clinical placements would be in Alberta.

With Nipissing, courses are semester based but clinical locations can be up to 100km from your home address. Sometimes clinical is cancelled because Nipissing often does not have priority to facilities outside of North Bay.

Both programs are online besides clinical, which can be doable when working full-time.

Does anyone know when acceptances are sent out? I applied in Jan and am (not so) patiently waiting...I'm hoping I don't have to wait til mid Summer.

Hey! I'm planning to apply to Nipissing online program (RPN to BScN blended), am currently taking courses at Athabasca. Do you know which courses could be transferred from Athabasca to Nipissing? I'm currently taking Math 215 (statistics) and English for university. Any information would help, thanks.
