Has anyone heard of this school and could give some info on whatever they know about the program. Im looking for some info about them but cant seem to find much. Just wondering if this school is worth my time because I been having trouble with nursing schools lately.

I did my CNA training at the Nightingale office in Pleasant Hill. It's the same owner, same company, same instructors. They really talked up the San Leandro LVN program, but when I looked into it, I found out that it's classified as a "trade school." So if I wanted to go on to get my RN, none of the training would transfer. I wouldn't be eligible for any LVN to RN bridge programs. Decided to do an ABSN instead.
If you don't plan on going further than the LVN then it might be okay, but if you're thinking about an RN, then don't waste your money.

HI MBA2RN, how do you rate your CNA training at nightgale? What's ABSN stands for? and where to get that class?
I am waiting for years and years and still not sure if I should go for nurse school, same time I can't afford full time study.
any one have good suggestion on this? All comments are welcome.

Good morning! I did my CNA training at Nightingale nursing, san leandro. I liked it, the exam was easy, and you just watch videos for the first class meeting. I did my rotation at Piedmont gardens in Piedmont, Oakland, which is a nice facility. The other nice thing is that Red Cross came to Nightingale for the skills/written certification exam. I don't have any complaints about it. In fact, I still have my book from that program, so if you sign up and are interested, i could sell it to you for a low price.
I like to know after CNA, how much you can get for living? $15-$17/h for full time? how easy getting a job now? I heard that RN is worried to get laid off. So I amnot sure about CNA.
Idea will be land on CNA then go for some other LVN or RN or other program? is it doable?
Thanks for offering the book, I will consider if I go for class.
i don't know how CNAs are in the job market. I do know however, that everytime i look for RN listings on websites, i also see plenty of CNA positions available. i'm not sure on pay; i never worked as a CNA b/c i went straight into nursing school

If you choose to attend a Nightingale Nurse CNA class the textbooks will be provided for and part of your tuition. Do not purchase them from any one:redpinkhe

Hi all,
I went to Nightingale for my CNA and my LVN. I made sure the programs were board approved before taking the classes. CNA program was cheap and about a month and a half long. LVN course was 1yr program. I am now a working LVN. I plan on getting into a bridge program. My friend who took the LVN course did get into a lvn to rn bridge program in the bay area. Woo Hoo! It was a tough yr, but worth it because now I have my license. Good luck to y'all and stick it out!!

I am also interested in the nightingale program. The only thing that concerns me is the cost of the program. I tried to apply for loans but was unable to find the schools name online. How were you able to pay for the program?
