Nightingale January 2022

Updated:   Published

Hi there! Thought I would start a post for those looking to join this cohort. Let me know where you are from. If you have a tips, questions, or concerns.. maybe we can help each other out! Looking to hear from others!!

No UNITEK quoted me 100,000 even with prerequisites done. I only needed one more. Nightingale is definitely cheaper with prerequisites done. I was quoted 51,000 but I still have to test out of classes. The cost is 78,000- 79,000 without prerequisites done. I hope this clears the confusion. We do have to pay for costs to travel to the clinical sites. I live in California and there’s no clinicals sites here.

Oh OK! Yea I read that wrong cause I was like nightingale only quoted me around 53k lollll

unitek wouldn’t even let me apply straight to there BSN program. They said you had to do LVN first with them. I’m like byeeeee

When Unitek told me that the BSN classes is still 100,000 with most prerequisites done, I was like it’s OK.. I’ll stick with Nightingale. LOL.

Yea it’s too much!

I was looking into Nightingale also, but I was thinking of applying to another college located in Los Angeles. The admissions person for Nightingale doesn't respond to my emails, so I chose another hybrid program which is located in California. It's a brand new program, but they have been doing the LVN program for a while. Plus they are registered with the BON.

What School did you apply to

Right! We would’ve all been done already.. LOL.

I’ve started the classes already. Just prerequisites and it’s doable. For the clinicals, they will give 6 weeks notice so we can plan our travel and hotel stays.

Update!

I graduated from Nightingale College May 2023 ? I took and passed my NCLEX-RN in California first time and now work as an RN.

Congrats!! I'm next!! =)
