Hey Guys,

Y'all know I'm just starting out in NICU...well, we have quads! They're so cute! The OB is saying that two of them are twins...although he wasn't sure which ones! ha! Well, we sent two of them home last week. Maybe they are the twins since they were about the same as far as figuring out how to eat and keep their temps normal first. We have many twins right now too. I think multiples are fascinating.

These quads were the product of Clomid we are told.

just curious, you mean two of them are identical twins? wow... i know that there were quints born recently.

thinking of clomid and possibly of people not minding their own business ;), last week i thought that i could have been pregnant. i went out to the store to purchase a test along with a bag of chocolate chips to put into yogurt. anyhow, this lady ahead of me looks at my purchases and said, "those are really good to have around." since the tests were first things on the belt, and the chips were towards the middle, i wasn't really sure what she was referring to (of course, the only thing at that moment i had on my mind was the test). i said to her, "umm...which one?" then she looked at the tests and instead of saying, "umm.. sorry, i was referring to the chips and aren't they a great brand, etc etc?" she starts talking in a loud voice about her pregnancy tests, her bout with infertility... i was highly embarrassed at this point since the cashier was a teenage male (they were waiting on a price check so that's why she was there so long).

anyhow, she asks me outright, are you taking fertility treatments? my mouth was just agage. this was none of her business even if i knew her. she then whips out a piece of paper and proceeds to write her name and phone number on it, saying (for the world to hear) that she has 12 more clomid that she's not going to use, and would i like to have them??

oh goodness... i know that she was being nice but there are limits with someone that you don't know. of course, i'm not going to take clomid willy-nilly like it was candy.:nono: i told her that my husband and i have decided that (this is the truth) that we aren't going to take any heroic measures to get pregnant, and thanks for the offer, but no...

moral of the story: if i ever believe that i'm pregnant, i'm going to a slow-business pharmacy three towns over to buy a test. :)
