greetings to all,
i am new at this 'chat room stuff'. i am an nicu nurse, currently working in the uae. i basically joined this site as i need information regarding relocating to the usa. a friend has done it on her own, its taken her years and now the visa's have run out, so she is still waiting. i have heard positive reports from others doing it through agencies, the question is which agency. i have read some not so positive reports on o'grady peyton (that would have been my first choice, as its the only agency i am aware of). does any one out there have any valuable advice regarding this issue. i would like to do this in the shortest possible time, and through a reputable and good agency. i would appreciate you help and advise.
thanks, and thank you for having me in this forum.

There is no shortest time possible. You have to have passed the NCLEX exam for you to even have the petition process started on your behalf. And you must meet the requirements for licensure in a state Board of Nursing to even be able to sit for the NCLEX exam.
For the petitioning process to begin, you must have passed either the CGFNS exam or the NCLEX-RN exam.
Please read the Primer at the top of this forum to see what you need to do. And suggest that you follow what is there before even looking for an agency. Or it can actually take you longer to get things done in many cases.
