Hi everyone. Congrats to the people who got into the ASN program at NGCSU. I am so disappointed because I was put on their wait list. Does anybody have any idea how many students are typically on their wait lists and do they put everyone on the wait list that have met the requirements?
Hi!! I would really love the list of books.....if you could PM it to me, that would be wonderful!! I also ordered the uniform, the tops were pretty much true to size for me....but the pants were on the bigger side. I'm ok with that though....not sure how I feel about the white pants anyway. :)
oh...I'm at the cumming campus too. :)
Hi! I will be starting the NGCSU Lpn to Rn nursing program in June at the Gainesville Campus. I was wondering if anyone out there would also be starting the program this summer. I'm not quite sure what to expect and don't know anyone in the program. I was told I would not know whether or not I would be full or part time until Fall 2009, after the summer session. I would love to hear from anyone who has any info.

Hi vallie007 and mlvangil! I too will be at the Cumming campus. I so excited and nervous at the same time. Would you all like to round-up more Cumming campus beginners for a meet and greet? I know of 1 other person from another blog. I believe it will be nice to know our other "teammates!"

Ok. . .so far, there is 4 of us that is known to be at the Cumming campus, vallie007,mivangil, ~Nicole, and I. Is anyone taking classes now? I will be going to the main campus in June for advisement and to take care of some financial aid stuff. Will anyone else be going for early advising?

I'd love to meet everyone as well.
LovnLife asked about advisement and classes. I'm taking AP 1 now in a 5 week accelerated session format and will start AP 2 in the same format in late June. So I drive to the main campus 4 days a week right now. I did advisement for Fall and Summer semesters at the same time in April. I think I'll do a recheck with them in August at orientation, though.
If you guys want to meet, my schedule is pretty bad Monday mornings through Thursday afternoons because of class. Thursday evenings, most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are more flexible. However, I know my life is crazy right now, so I understand if you cannot work around me.
Has anyone been contacted by their student mentor yet? I turned in my form and wasn't clear on when that first contact will happen.

Hey vallie007 - congrats on being taken off the wait list. Did you get into the LPN-RN Bridge program or regular ASN program? I'm supposedly on the wait list for Bridge and they say I probably won't hear anything until their orientation day which is June 3rd. Hopefully there will be some people that don't show up ; )
Good Luck to ya!
