I will be finished my nursing degree in december and I'm wanting to move to Ireland at the beginning of next year.
I know i have to apply with the Irish Nurses board, but does anyone know if they will accept me with little experience, and if hospitals in Ireland will take overseas nurses for post-grad programs?
any info would be really appreciated :) .. i'm a little stuck

Don't know the exact way to apply, but I know they're very much in need of nurses in Ireland. They've hired many nurses from overseas, esp. Phillipino nurses. You may want to try posting on the UK and overseas nursing board. Good luck! Maybe I'll see you there someday!

I was born and raised in Ireland and I would have to think long and hard about working as a nurse there. The pay is still low and the work conditions are not great. In the U.S nurses do not do nearly as much of CNA type jobs that they do in Ireland.
Hello Leixlip, long time no post. I was waiting to hear from you!!! I'm wearing my new shoes:) :) :) !
