I am 43 years old and I am enrolled in a community college to be an LVN, I am a radiology transcriber and voice recognition is taking my job, anybody in the same boat as me as far as starting a new career, I am taking my basics and starting prerequisits in january, I need a word of encouragement due to my age, i still have a ways before i even apply to the program.

age doesnt matter as long as you want what youre doin.. im also a second courser...its a satisfying work ahead....go:yeah:

Welcome! I was just shy of 40 when I started as a LPN. Definitely check out the LPN/LVN section and also the LPN/LVN student section for some great folks and interesting topics.
