New York University (NYU) Non-Accelerated/ABSN Fall 2022

Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for the fall 2022 deadline for NYU's ABSN non-accelerated and accelerated pathway yet soo I decided too start one so we can all stress out together in these next few months of applying

Did anyone submit transcripts electronically ONLY and it’s still not reflected in their common app portal? I was told that I could send my transcripts electronically and they are reflected properly in the NYU portal. When I reached out to admissions to let them know that the transcripts were “not yet received” in the common app, they told me to not worry about that and focus on what’s in the NYU portal. Although I checked in with admissions re: this, I am now worried because 1) I haven’t heard back yet and 2) communication with the admissions team was inconsistent throughout this process. Hi! I submitted PDF transcripts and it never updated on CommonApp, so trust whatever it says on the NYU portal.

Hi just discovered this forum but I received my acceptance this past Tuesday! I would definitely love to chat with someone about how they will navigate their living situation for the next 15 months. I have no clue where to begin!! Also congrats to everyone that got in and sending all the best of luck to those waiting to hear back!!

This is my main issue with the NYU nursing application process. The process is so disconnected from the “nursing school” it’s so odd…. They do not even interview you or do anything virtual with pre-filmed essay video questions or anything. It’s very odd.

I actually had this problem and chose to pay to send my transcripts twice just to ensure both Common App and NYU had it, better safe than sorry.

I applied March 22nd did anyone who applied in March hear anything back yet?

Congratulations!! Are you coming from out of state?

I did this as well, I also called them to see if they received it. I physically mailed the transcripts in - I believe thats what they recommended on their website.

I applied Feb 25th and haven't heard back yet. My checklist has disappeared though
