New York University (NYU) Accelerated Nursing Spring 2023

Hi everyone,

I thought I should start this thread where people can put their stats if they wish and give each other advice! Priority deadline is September 15 and regular decision deadline is October 15. 

Does anyone know if decisions only come out on Monday or will they also be sent out Friday?

My friend got accepted today and she applied 9/16

I'm not sure about the decisions but did your friends checklist disappear before she found out she got int?

I was accepted yesterday as well. I guess they started admitting early. I submitted my application 9/15 at 11:35pm. I guess I made the priority deadline. Not sure if the checklist disappeared before, since I didn't check.

Did you submit your pre-reqs on the admission page asap?

I saw @harrystyles posted that admitted emails from last year were October 26th (Tuesday), Nov 8 (Monday), November 15 (Monday), November 22 (Monday), December 8 (Wednesday), and December 13 (Monday). I don't think the day matters too much it's just once a week.

No I didn't. I finished submitting them 10/15.

Thanks! My GPA was roughly 3.25. Sorry I can't be more specific, I took classes at multiple schools. My pre-req grades were:

A&P I: A+

A&P II: A

Chemistry: A+

LifeSpan: IP

Microbiology: IP

Nutrition: A

Statistics: A+

I've worked both clerical/administrative and billing positions in hospitals. I recently started volunteering in a hospital to get hands on patient care experience. I think that about sums up my full history. I hope this helps.
